Breakfast with Santa

Our neighborhood that we live in is always doing wonderful things for the kids that live here. During Christmas, they have Breakfast with Santa at the Fire station. Since this is really the first year that Lily is noticing all the Christmas lights, Christmas decorations and that man that sits in the big chair at the mall, we decide to take her to breakfast with Santa, so that way we could avoid the long long line at the mall. When walked in she of course noticed Santa. She automatically started the fingers in the mouth. (that's what she does when she is not sure about the situation) Well, I was very surprised when she shook her head when I asked her if she wanted to sit on his lap. She did, without any tears:) She would not talk to him all she would do is shake her head when he talked to her. She did say "Elmo" when I asked her if she wanted "Elmo" for Christmas!!! Neways, we had a great time and I can't wait till Christmas when she gets to open all the wonderful things Santa is bringing her :P

Lily not too sure what to think???

She did remove her fingers from her mouth to get the Candy Cane.

Eating Candy for breakfast instead of the pancakes, eggs and sausage they had for us!!!

I hope everyone has a great Christmas!!! I have one more week of school and then I am off for two weeks. During that time I am going to go spend a week with my family, then we are going to Kane's parents house on Christmas Eve. We will be back that Sunday after Christmas to get me ready for my surgery on Monday the 28th. For the ones who don't know I am getting a breast reduction ,which I have wanted for many many years!!! I am super excited about it and very very nervous!!! So please pray for me that I get through the surgery and have a fast recovery:) Well Merry Christmas, Be Safe and God Bless!!!

FiRsT OnE

So I have decide to start a blog. Many of my friends have a blog. It seems to be an easy way to keep family and friends updated on our growing family. So come back often to find out all the new things in our life. This blog will probably be mostly about Lily:)

Lily's Beginning Stages of Potty Training

Lily has been trying to learn how to potty on the big girl potty. She knows when she is about to potty. She will come to use and say either "poo poo" or "potty", so we rush off to the potty and by time we get there she has already went potty in her diaper. We have actually only been successful twice. It was just alittle bit of potty, but it was enough to celebrate her success. Hopefully this is the beginning stages of her being able to potty soon and the end of the diaper phase!!!!
