Cakes and More Cakes

I have started an adventure into making cakes. My mother-in-law makes some wonderful cakes and I have always admire how well she does them....therefore, since I married Kane I am slowly getting into making cakes!!

One day Kane and I are going to open a cake shop...I do not know when or how...but one day:)

This was the first time I ever attempted anything like this...talk about stress overload:)

So I mentioned a few times how I am a teacher...well this was the first year we administered the STAAR test...lets just say I made my team a cake to celebrate it being OVER!!!

Spring Break trip to Flordia

My parents were taking a trip to Florida to go see my Uncle and they asked Lily and I to go with them!!

Kane's work schedule was changing and he ended up going with us!!

So all 6 of us (Mom, Dad, Tommy, Me, Kane and Lily) all took a trip to Florida!!

We had a blast. It was a great trip and it was sooo nice to just get away for a bit:)

Lily turns 4!

Yes...this post is really late...I admit I am not the best blogger at all:(

Well, my baby girl is 4...I can not believe it!!

Next year she will turn 5 and then she is off to Kindergarten...what the heck where did the time go??

Lily wanted a Hello Kitty Princess Dance Party this year, so I did my best to accommodate to all of her wishes!!!

This is what we came up with...Hello Kitty cake and invitations...Dance Party at Chucke Cheese...and she was dressed like a princess!!!

Lily my sweet little girl who will be 4 in March, where has the time gone?? The past four years have just flown by. The things you do every day just amaze me!! Just the other day you put your hand over your heart and recited the entire Pledge of Allegiance:) I am so blessed to have you as my daughter. I can not wait to give you a little brother or sister!!
